Rick Smith Biography |
|
Rick Smith- has over
25 years in the Lighting/Staging Industry. His
background includes, but is not limited to, working with
sound & lighting companies, corporate staging companies,
television/film crews, and touring acts, as well as
being an in-house lighting director/production manager
for well noted venues. Also serving as the Lighting
Designer and Director for The Atlanta Dance company for
five years and the “Specialty Lighting”
programmer/operator for the NHL,NBA and WNBA at Philips
Arena in Atlanta. Rick has also designed, directed and
programmed some of Europe’s largest rock festivals.
Rick’s involvement with some of the
biggest shows in the world has given him a wide range of
experience and objectives in lighting and production.
Currently, Rick designs corporate and live functions.
Touring and working in over 22 countries, responsible
for the lighting either as the LD, Programmer or ME has
earned him the title of a working LD today.
